Mystie created a basic concept of an alphabet. I have finally gotten something relatively complete. Here it is!

Okay here's how the language is written. After all, there are certain rules. The main idea is to get the beam all the way across. One beam connects each word horizontally. 1. The initial and final vowel(s) of a word (if there are any) never need a beam. Observe: 2. If the word has only vowels, no beam is then used. Observe: 3. If the word has only one consonant, then the consonant is in it's beam-less form, like this: 4. And finally, always keep a beam from the first consonant to the last consonant (if the word has more than one consonant). Look at these examples: Now you are able to write anything! Good luck!

How do you get images into a post? All the buttons up there scare me.

You use the and [/img] (without the spaces) on either side of a url link. You can always hit the "preview" button to try it out and make sure it'll look right before submitting.

Thanks. I have a proposal for an alphabet modelled on yours, but with some minor alterations and rearrangements to make it much more compact and flowing. It'll be along tomorrow, but if I can, tonight.

Okay, I got the image scanned in, but I hit a problem when putting it into the post. It is far, far too big. Image-dimensions-wise, that is. Ridiculously so considering how little was actually on it. I've added more to it, and I'm going to scan it in again, but before I do, any suggestions on how to make it smaller?

Any decent photo editing tool might have a rescaling tool. Or else on your scanner, you may be able to keep it contained via what it's being scanned as. Many ways.

Copy paste, and extract pieces then. Maybe upload a bunch of files from the one pic. Since it's a rectangle, you might be able to make it like 3X4 or something, and then just upload all 12 pics or whatever.
