Just got a chance to read this. I'd forgotten in the interim how much I liked the initial chapters, and I was happy to see that in the later chapters you took a stab at two things not often covered in Myst fic: Saavedro actually getting closure after his ordeal, and the chilling scene in one of the bad endings where we see the gondola rocking. Few things could be more eloquent than that image as it was presented, but you've done quite well.

It was a lot of fun writing for Saavy one more time... Just to get in his sandals again and put myself there. I think that a lot of bad ending stories miss some elements and end up skipping the finer details, which in my opinion are what make or break the story.

It's nice to hear about all the fond comments.
